Our garden is simple but stylish with a broad mix and match of plants selected to best suit Central Otago's low rainfall, hot summers and cold winters. Lavenders, roses, wild thyme, daylilies, perennials and succulents.

Exploring the garden, even when nothing is in flower, you will find numerous shrubs and specimen trees to hold your interest. A charming time at Quail Rock is spring going into summer with its lovely show of colour, form and texture. Autumn brings a rush of golds and reds. Winter's frosts and snow can create a complete change of complexion to the garden.

Then there's our orchard where you can pick and enjoy stone fruits and apples off the trees. Our preserved fruit will be served with your continental breakfast.
